The highlight on this album is Come Running To Me. At over eight minutes, the song is structured by two alternating parts and related to Hancock's signature song, Maiden Voyage. Flute and synth introduce an unusual melody, Herbie repeats it with the vocoder.

Jan 01,  · In “I Thought It Was You” l’esperimento funziona alla grande, in “Come Running To Me” e “Sunlight” un po’ meno (secondo me). Infatti è grazie al primo pezzo se ho deciso di acquistare questo cd. In “No Means Yes” e “Good Question” invece Hancock e /5(22).

’s ‘Sunlight’ marks Herbie Hancocks beginning of his electro-style era, best known on his later album ‘Future Shock’. It’s a jazz-funk fusion album with Hancock using a vocoder for the first time and which later became known worldwide through his mega hit ‘Rockit’.
